What we collect, and what we do with it.
This site collects very little. What follows describes exactly what it does collect, why, and how to have it removed — in plain language rather than the usual thousand words of boilerplate.

Who this covers
This policy applies to profitedgesystems.com. It does not cover any separate application, portal or reporting tool you may be given access to as a client — those are governed by the agreement you sign with us.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form, and only when you choose to send it. That form asks for your name, job title, email address, phone number, company, number of locations, business type, the systems you currently run, what you are interested in, a description of the problem you are trying to solve, what you have already tried, your timing, who decides whether to proceed, and whether data or documents are likely to be involved.
Every one of those fields except name, email, phone, company and the problem description is optional. Answer as little as you like — the only cost is that the first conversation will be less useful.
We do not record your IP address or browser details with your submission. The form is configured not to store them. There are no user accounts on this site, nothing is sold through it, and we do not ask for payment details anywhere.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, and to have a useful first conversation rather than spending it establishing basic facts. That is the entire purpose. We do not build profiles, we do not score leads against a model, and we do not use what you send us to target advertising.
Where it goes
Submissions are stored in this website’s own database, hosted by our web host, and sent to us by email. They are read by the person who would actually do the work. There is no sales team and no customer-relationship system passing your details around.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.
Spam filtering
This site uses Akismet to filter automated spam. Where it is applied to a submission, the contents may be checked against Akismet’s service, operated by Automattic, to determine whether it is spam. Their privacy notice is published at automattic.com/privacy.
Cookies
This site sets the functional cookies that WordPress and our theme require to display pages correctly and to keep a form submission intact while you are filling it in. It does not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, this section will say so, by name.
How long we keep it
[RETENTION PERIOD TO BE CONFIRMED — see note below.] After that period, stored submissions are anonymised. If we go on to work together, any information you give us during that engagement is covered by our agreement with you rather than by this policy.
Asking for a copy, or asking us to delete it
Email hello@profitedgesystems.com and ask. We will send you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not affect how we deal with you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not broaden what we collect and leave the date alone.

Four things need you:
1. The date. Set it on the day you publish.
2. Retention. Decide how long form submissions are kept. Avada is currently set to anonymise entries on expiry, but no period is stated. Ninety days or a year are both common; the point is to pick one and hold to it.
3. Your legal entity name. If ProfitEdge Systems trades under a registered company name, that name belongs here rather than the brand.
4. Confirm the email claim. This says submissions are sent to you by email. That is only true once the form’s Email action is enabled — the same item still sitting on your Avada list. If it stays database-only, this line has to change.
Two things I deliberately did not include, because they are not true today: any mention of analytics or advertising trackers, and any mention of newsletter signups. If you configure the subscribe form or add analytics, both sections need writing.
